Thought for the Day  (Click to reveal)

The appearance of things change according to the emotions, and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves.

Lambda's Finances Are Public

Many of you may have seen the front-page article in yesterday's, May 3rd, Sunday edition of the Arizona Republic about local charities and non-profits dishonoring their supporters by spending monies inappropriately. I can assure you this isn't the case at Lambda Phoenix Center. As an all volunteer organization, one hundred percent of your contributions to LPC go to supporting our Center—keeping the doors open and the lights on.

Important LPC stats:

If you have any questions or concerns, we are happy to address them. Please contact us by visiting our website www.phxlambda.org, attending our Board meeting, or talking with any current Board member. LPC's annual financials are posted on the bulletin board and our monthly Board meetings, held the first Sunday of each month at 5:00p.m., are open for anyone who wishes to attend.

Thank you for your continued support and assistance in achieving our mission—to provide an inviting, safe and supportive community space for individuals and families in the metro Phoenix LGBT community recovering from alcoholism and other addictions.

In Service,

Anjanette F.
