LPC Open Set for October
Lambda Phoenix Center is proud to host the 1st Annual LPC Open Golf Tournament on Saturday, October 3rd. This is a four-man scramble with a shotgun start at 7:30 am. Our tournament will be held at the beautiful Stonecreek, The Golf Club, in Phoenix. Cost is only $100 for each golfer and that includes golf, lunch and tons of fun. We will have a phenomenal Hole-In-One contest for $10,000 cold hard cash. We will have other contests and a raffle with awesome prizes. So even if you are not a golfer, you can participate and support your Lambda Phoenix Center. See ya there!!!
Lambda April 2009 Survey
Lambda is conducting its first survey of its members. It has been distributed at Lambda already, so if you have already filled it out, please don't do so again. Otherwise, further information is below if you would like to fill out the online version. It only takes about three minutes to fill it out.

Many of you may have seen the front-page article in yesterday's, May 3rd, Sunday edition of the Arizona Republic about local charities and non-profits dishonoring their supporters by spending monies inappropriately. I can assure you this isn't the case at Lambda Phoenix Center. As an all volunteer organization, one hundred percent of your contributions to LPC go to supporting our Center—keeping the doors open and the lights on.

Photos...Our New Site Debuts!
Welcome to the new Lambda website. This is the beginning of an expansion of the current site to better serve the LGBT Recovery community. The Lambda Board is expanding its communications campaign, and the new website is part of that. So is the Facebook site and a new version of our brochure, for distribution to halfway houses and treatment centers to raise awareness of recovery options for members of our community.

The Parking Lot Task Force passed a milestone recently. We were able to file plans with the City of Phoenix Development Services Department, one of several consideration filings that will go through the City of Phoenix. During this review, the city's development services office will consider our overall design, traffic flow, and details for change.
